ugh...

whoa whoa... waiting for the breakdown...

i can't remember the last time i got sick

i do however remember i had an uncanny ability to get sick at the worst of times

Beginning of Summer Break
Right Before a Camping Trip
Christmas
Thanksgiving

so, i guess it figures that i went from perfectly healthy to 104ยบ fever on the Saturday of the three day weekend before finals

it also figures that i should get sick when my parents were busy at a wedding
it figures i should lose my appetite when my parents ordered pizza
it figures the tylenol would be on the shelf too high for my sisters to reach

but otherwise...
i'm not starving
i'm not freezing
i'm not needing

life is good

It's Murphy's law.

Hang in there; sounds like a pretty bad one.

And it's good to know you can still see the bright side of life...

even when it's through eyes swimming with fever.

Daaaang.
I hate Murphy's Law.
"Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong."
It's too pessimistic for my style.

Anyway...
Sorry 'bout your fever, Alex.
I remember last time (or one time) you got sick, you skipped out on swim practice for a long time. When you got back, I asked you where you'd been. You told me that you'd been sick, and about this awful asian type concoction that your grandma made for you that was supposed to make you feel better. 'Hope you don't have to take that again.

Well, heck, see it this way. You either could'a been sick now or during finals. The way I see it, you're better off sick now than during the week. You would'a been sick anyway, so better now than later, eh?

And another thing. If you've hit 104 on that thermometer of yours, you 'oughta be in bed or on the couch sleeping than up on the computer. And you wash you're hands and stay away from your sisters - you'll get them sick too. Have someone get you some "Emergen-c" or some "Airborne". Have toast and fruits for lunch, and have soup for dinner.

And may the force be with you.
Get better soon, and good luck studying.
